I was on the Event Planning Committee for Wildflower Triathlon in 2018. Working for TriCalifornia Events, we started planning in January and put on the event in May.

Wildflower Triathlon is known as the "Woodstock of Triathlons" because we try to focus on the experience of the weekend just as much as the races themselves. In the past year we added paddle-board races, a festival with live music, twice as many vendors and sponsors, and many other improvements.

I was the Lead of the Front Gate sub-committee, where we set up the system for check-in and check-out, handling VIP experience, as well as a general information booth for all spectators and racers.

I was in charge of three people in my committee, making sure they are fully trained and monitoring that they are doing their job to provide the best experience to participants.
